Every correct answer adds a piece; reasonably quick first-try answers add three. Timing starts at 10 seconds, including typing and Enter, and adapts between 8–12 seconds. There is no visible countdown.
Finishing the buildings is only part of the adventure. Each cat needs reliable recall of its ten facts on three different days. The city earns its crown only when all 100 multiplications (0–9, including reversed pairs) are mastered and every building is built. Slow answers and second tries earn pieces but must be practised again. Breaks never count as proof of mastery.
Show me opens a kitten trick: doubling bounces, nine fingers, sixes half-and-keep, and little memory scenes. Help also opens after a mistake. Correct answers with help still build one piece, but do not count as independent recall. Pictures stay available whenever needed.
